PROPEAQ Magazine - irregular working hours

Working irregular hours is not only hard, it also entails health risks. This is because our biological clock determines our day-night rhythm. After all, we are diurnal animals and not nocturnal. Many bodily processes work differently at night than during the day. Working during the night hours disrupts the day-night rhythm, which can lead to adverse health effects, both in the short and long term.

In recent years, interventions have been developed that can make working irregular hours more bearable. The experiences with these interventions are mostly positive and the short-term problems seem to decrease.

Read more about the possibilities and interventions to work healthier at irregular hours in our Propeaq magazine - irregular working hours.

In healthcare or emergency services, every second is important. Fatigue can affect the quality of care and then a mistake is easily made. During your shift, you often have to deal with acute situations where speed and accuracy are of vital importance. In industrial environments, safety is top priority.

The Propeaq light glasses help you to think clearly, react faster and recover better during and after your work. The Propeaq light glasses are already successfully used by many healthcare professionals, emergency services and operators.

With the accompanying Propeaq TimeTooler app, you will receive personalized light advice for using the light glasses. Whether you work in healthcare, emergency services or industry, this handy tool helps you make optimal use of daylight and Chrono Coaching. Benefit from more effective services or shifts and a healthier biorhythm with the Propeaq light glasses, so that you are always in top form during your work.
