During the RadboudUMC Parkinson Symposium on May 16, 2025, Propeaq emphasized the promising results of a 2019 study into blue light therapy in Parkinson's patients. This study, published in the journal Hindawi Parkinson's Disease, showed that three quarters of the participants, after using the Propeaq light therapy glasses for at least a week, reported improvements in sleep, mood and motor functions. This non-invasive therapy appears to be able to significantly improve the quality of life of patients. The results of a new study are expected in the summer of 2025, which is expected to further substantiate the effectiveness and safety of the therapy, called Chrono Coaching.
