The Lionesses left for Australia last week to acclimatise to the climate and the huge time difference before they embark on their World Cup campaign started against Haiti.
Although many people can struggle with jet lag when flying abroad and visiting different corners of the world, most people normally do fine and hotspots like Spain, Greece, Portugal and Italy aren’t too different from time in the UK.

However, if people go further afield, to places like the Middle East, America or Australia, this can be something that people need to get used to for a day or two, both going abroad and coming back from their trip.
In response to the previous statement, we can confirm that the time difference from England to Australia can cause jet lag of 10 days if left untreated.
England leads the way in anti-jet lag technology
With England looking to train almost every day in preparation for the World Cup, which they will go into as one of the favourites given their success at the European Championship on home soil last summer, jet lag wasn't really an option for Sarina Weigman's side.
That's why England decided to give all their players a pair of Chrono glasses, designed by Netherlands-based company Propeaq, who say their glasses help reduce the impact of jet lag and allow users to sleep while travelling around the world.
The technology is very unique because there are two types of lenses, a blue tint and a red tint. The first is said to help keep people awake because it tries to create the effect that it is sunlight, which means that the body thinks that it is not yet night and therefore not yet time to sleep.
When replaced with the red pair, they apparently help produce melatonin, which tells the body when it’s time to sleep. This means coaches and physiotherapists can tell their players when to swap the lenses to ensure their bodies are as in sync with the Australian time zone as possible.
England's Euro heroes appeared to fall for the technology, with Manchester City's Ellie Roebuck, Barcelona's Keira Walsh, Bayern Munich's Georgia Stanway and Tottenham Hotspur's Bethany England all wearing the new sunglasses.
Lionesses take no risks for the World Cup
To ensure these work properly, Propeaq has encouraged users to pair their glasses with the app, which allows them to enter their current time zone and flight times so they can receive alerts about when to change lenses to try and get some sleep.
